We envision a world where anyone can find a travel experience that aligns with their interests, goals, and travel style, and anyone with a community can become a host. Through a global network of trusted hosts, thoughtfully designed itineraries, and operational support, Nomad Collective will make group travel more accessible, more connected, and easier to bring to life.
Our Story
How it started
In the summer of 2023, Eve and Sofia met by chance at their local Connecticut skatepark, two strangers who, it turned out, were both leaving for Europe within weeks. After more talking than skating, they realized they shared the same restless love for the outdoors and travel, and promised to keep in touch.
That fall, their paths crossed again in Albania. After one too many hot dogs and altitude sickness in the Albanian Alps, they thought, wouldn't it be cool if we could share this with other people? And that they did! The following summer they hosted their very first women's retreat in Agropoli, Italy.
That was when Nomad Collective was born.
Where we're headed
Since 2025, we've hosted nine trips across three continents, from island-hopping in Thailand to riding around Colorado in a school bus to pasta making in Italy. Every trip has taught us something new, and every group has proven the same thing: travel is better together. We can both agree that being able to share our passion for travel with others is the most rewarding part of the work we do.
And this is just the beginning. What started as two friends planning trips is growing into something bigger, a collective of hosts and travelers around the world.
Meet Eve
Eve caught the travel bug early. She started exploring the U.S. at 16, solo backpacked across Europe at 18, and came home only to buy a camper van and keep going. Fifteen countries later, spanning the Americas, Europe, and Asia, she's still chasing the next horizon.
When she's not on the road, Eve is skateboarding, surfing, mountain biking, climbing, hiking, or on a yoga mat. But ask anyone who's traveled with her and they'll tell you her real talent isn't any of those things, it's people. Eve has a gift for making strangers feel like old friends, and it's why the community she's built online now numbers more than 300,000. On every trip, she's the spark that turns a group of solo travelers into a crew.
Meet Sofia
Sofia is the reason a Nomad Collective trip goes off without a hitch. Her love of travel took off while studying abroad in Spain during her time at the University of Vermont, and she's since explored 15 countries, nearly a third of them solo. When she's not traveling, or better yet planning travel, you can find her skiing, skateboarding, mountain biking, hiking, or building a new Lego set.
Behind the scenes, Sofia runs the operation. With a business degree and a planner's eye for detail, she's the one making sure your airport transfer is waiting when you land, your activities are booked, and the itinerary flows from one day to the next.
